Overview
Delivered in a cascade format similar to the MiDAS scheme for drivers, this is a one-off course of training designed to equip the passenger assistant with the fundamental training they require to fulfil their role competently and with optional modules to target their training needs more specifically.

To Train Passenger Assistants
Duration: 1 - 2 days
Numbers: Up to 15

Content

Module A -     Role of the passenger assistant ("Foundation")

Module B1 -   Passenger awareness and assistance

Module B2 -   Assisting passengers who travel in their wheelchairs

Module C1 -   Supervising children and young people with special needs

Module C2 -   Working with adults who require care and supervision

 

To train Passenger Assistant Trainers
Duration: 4 days
Numbers: Up to 6

Content
Enables successful candidates to deliver modules A, B1, B2, C1 and C2
